How to design an efficient hydraulic pipeline layout to improve system efficiency?

Publish Time: 2025-02-26
Under the premise of meeting the system function and equipment layout, the total length of the hydraulic pipeline should be shortened as much as possible. A shorter hydraulic pipeline can reduce the resistance and pressure loss of the oil flowing in the hydraulic pipeline, reduce energy loss, and help improve system efficiency.

Elbows will increase the resistance of oil flow and increase pressure loss. Therefore, the elbows and bending angles in the hydraulic pipeline should be minimized. If elbows must be used, large radius elbows should be used to reduce flow resistance.

Reasonably plan the direction of the hydraulic pipeline to avoid intersections and interference between different hydraulic pipelines. This can prevent the hydraulic pipeline from being damaged or affecting the flow of oil due to mutual squeezing and friction during installation or use.

According to factors such as the length, diameter and working pressure of the hydraulic pipeline, the fixing points of the hydraulic pipeline should be reasonably set. The fixing points should prevent the hydraulic pipeline from shaking, shifting or fatigue damage due to factors such as the impact force, vibration or thermal expansion of the oil flow.

For horizontally laid hydraulic pipelines, brackets or hangers can be used for support; for vertically laid hydraulic pipelines, fixed clamps should be set. The support should have sufficient strength and rigidity to withstand the weight and pressure of the hydraulic pipeline and the oil inside it.

During the operation of the high-temperature hydraulic system, the hydraulic pipeline will produce thermal expansion and contraction due to temperature changes. Therefore, when fixing and supporting the hydraulic pipeline, thermal expansion compensation measures should be considered, such as using bellows compensators, spherical compensators or setting U-shaped bends.

Reasonably plan the flow direction of the oil so that the oil can flow smoothly in the hydraulic pipeline to avoid backflow, dead zones or turbulence. This helps to improve the stability and efficiency of the system.

Designing an efficient hydraulic pipeline layout requires comprehensive consideration from multiple aspects to ensure efficient and stable operation of the system.
